Job summary

Inspire Medical Systems, a leader in sleep therapy devices, seeks a Field Reimbursement Manager to optimize patient access and reduce payer barriers. You will build relationships with providers, payers, and facilities, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure coverage and coding aligned across multiple sites of service.

You will serve as the subject matter expert on coding and payment for Medicare and commercial payers, engaging with accounts for training and program reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, science or healthcare administration required
• ~7+ years of experience in reimbursement/market access and/or Successful experience working with complex insurance payer claims, denials, and appeals (Medicare and commercial)
• ~ Demonstrated knowledge in coding, coverage, and payment for implantable medical devices across the healthcare landscape including HCPs, ASCs, hospitals
• ~ Experience engaging directly with HCPs in multiple sites of service and in group educational settings
• ~ Excellent communication and in person and virtual presentation skills to interface with customers, cross-functional partners, and internal reimbursement and prior authorization partners
• ~ Direct experience collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders and managing project
• ~ Ability to travel regularly and up to 25%
• ~ Implantable medical device experience
• ~ Coding certification (CPC, COC)

Responsibilities

• Provide support to optimize Inspire access and minimize reimbursement barriers for patients and providers
• Build relationships with providers and facilities and other stakeholders
• Collaborate with internal reimbursement team and field sales to address customer needs and navigate payer channels
• Be the subject matter expert on coding, coverage, and payment for Medicare and commercial payers
• Communicate reimbursement education and resources to customers across multiple sites of service
• Engage with accounts for billing, coding training, and program review support
• Support reimbursement strategy alignment and account prioritization for access goals
• Develop reimbursement presentations for site visits, trainings, and client meetings
• Stay current on CMS and payer trends impacting Inspire access
• Travel as required (up to 25%)
