Job summary

Inspire Medical Systems seeks a Field Reimbursement Manager to optimize patient access for its sleep device across providers and payers. You will work with hospitals, ASCs, and clinics to address coverage barriers and support billing and coding education.

The role requires 7+ years in reimbursement/market access, strong stakeholder management, and up to 25% travel. Remote candidates from select U.S. states are considered, with a focus on improving access and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, science or healthcare administration required.
• 7+ years of reimbursement/market access experience with Medicare and commercial payers.
• Knowledge of coding, coverage, and payment for implantable medical devices.
• Experience engaging with healthcare providers across multiple sites of service.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel regularly up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Be subject matter expert on coding, coverage, and payment for Medicare and commercial payers.
• Impact patient access through complex problem solving.
• Communicate reimbursement education and resources to customers.
• Navigate account and patient access issues with stakeholders.
• Support site visits, program reviews, and reimbursement needs.
• Build relationships with Sales, Marketing, Medical Education, and Legal.
• Develop reimbursement presentations for trainings and client meetings.
• Stay updated on CMS and payer dynamics.
