Job summary

Inspire Medical Systems is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to optimize patient access for its innovative sleep apnea device. You will build payer relationships, educate providers, and lead initiatives to minimize coverage barriers across Medicare and commercial payers.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align reimbursement strategies, conduct trainings, and address access challenges in multiple sites of service.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in reimbursement/market access and/or handling complex payer claims
• Knowledge of coding, coverage, and payment for implantable medical devices across healthcare settings
• Experience engaging with HCPs across multiple sites of service and in group training
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with customers and cross-functional partners
• Ability to travel regularly up to 25%
• Implantable medical device experience
• Coding certification (CPC, COC)

Responsibilities

• Provide reimbursement support to optimize patient access and minimize barriers across payer channels
• Engage with providers’ offices, ASCs, hospitals, and other stakeholders
• Navigate and address account and patient access issues with internal and external teams
• Develop reimbursement presentations for site visits, trainings, and client meetings
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Medical Education, and Legal to meet access goals
• Keep abreast of CMS and payer policy changes impacting coverage
