Job summary

Inspire Medical Systems Inc. seeks a Field Reimbursement Manager to optimize patient access by navigating Medicare and commercial payers across multiple sites. You will train providers, assist with coding and coverage, and work with internal teams to resolve access challenges.

You will build relationships with physicians, facilities, and payers, traveling up to 25% while delivering reimbursement education and program reviews to support Inspire therapies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, science or healthcare administration required.
• ~7+ years of experience in reimbursement/market access and/or success with complex insurance payer claims, denials and appeals (Medicare and commercial).
• ~ Knowledge in coding, coverage, and payment for implantable medical devices across HCPs, ASCs, hospitals.
• ~ Experience engaging directly with HCPs in multiple sites of service and in group educational settings.
• ~ Excellent communication and in-person and virtual presentation skills to interface with customers and internal teams.
• ~ Direct experience collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders and managing projects.
• ~ Ability to travel regularly and up to 25%.
• Implantable medical device experience.
• Coding certification (CPC, COC).

Responsibilities

• Be the subject matter expert on coding, coverage, and payment for Medicare and commercial payers and impact patient access through complex problem solving.
• Effectively communicate reimbursement education, support, and resources to customers in multiple sites of service including administrators.
• Navigate and address account and patient access issues by partnering with external and internal stakeholders.
• Respond to client and internal partner requests for site visits, program reviews, and reimbursement needs/support.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships through reimbursement engagement and cross-functional partnerships.
• Execute on access and reimbursement strategic priorities with key accounts.
• Collaborate on reimbursement presentations for site visits, trainings, and client meetings.
• Keep abreast of CMS and payer dynamics and trends.
• Support additional responsibilities as needed.
• Build a culture of compliance with quality systems and laws.
