Farmers Insurance is seeking a Field Property Adjuster in Texas who will travel to policyholder homes to assess property damage, determine liability, and write estimates. You will utilize company vehicles, laptops, and claims software while interacting with policyholders and stakeholders to settle claims.

The role requires strong customer service, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently in a field environment.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment.
• Construction or Insurance experience is highly desirable and preferred.
• Excellent communication skills – both oral and written.
• Computer literate: MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Proficiency with smartphones and applications.
• Eagerness to learn about insurance policies and property damage to identify coverage.
• Outgoing personality for interacting with policyholders, claimants, agents, witnesses, etc.
• Valid driver's license and Bondable; background checks may apply.

Aufgaben

• Conduct virtual and on-site inspections by visiting policyholders’ residences to assess property damage and determine liability.
• Use claims handling software, a company car, and a laptop to write estimates.
• Evaluate and report subrogation opportunities.
• Report incidents involving theft, fraud or arson to state/industry agencies.
• Perform duties independently, impacting management outcomes.
• Represent the company professionally in public interactions.
• Engage with policyholders, claimants, agents, witnesses, contractors, and investigators.
• Negotiate with policyholders to settle claims.
• Promote safety and comply with safety standards.
