Farmers Insurance seeks a Field Adjuster to conduct investigations at policyholders' residences, assess damage, and negotiate settlements. You will use claims software, a company vehicle, and a laptop to draft estimates in a paperless environment, while collaborating with a broad network of stakeholders.

The role requires excellent customer service, strong communication, and willingness to travel for CAT deployments and routine field work.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment.
• Construction or Insurance experience is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills in oral and written form.
• Computer literate: MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Proficiency with smartphones and applications.
• Valid driver's license and bondable; background check required.

Responsabilités

• Conduct virtual and on-site investigations by visiting policyholders' residences to assess property damage, liability, and loss extent, and negotiate settlements.
• Use claims handling software, company vehicle, and laptop; write estimates in a paperless environment.
• Evaluate and report on subrogation opportunities and incidents of theft, fraud, or arson.
• Interact professionally with policyholders, claimants, agents, witnesses, contractors, law enforcement and other parties.
• Assist with safety and compliance as per company manuals.
