Farmers Insurance is seeking a Field Property Adjuster in Ohio. The role involves evaluating property damage at policyholder homes, negotiating settlements, and using claims software and a company car.

You will interact with diverse stakeholders and travel within the assigned territory, with potential CAT deployments and structured training through the University of Farmers. Applicants should have a high school diploma, strong customer service skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment.
• Construction or Insurance experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills – both oral and written.
• Computer literate: MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Proficiency with smartphones and applications.
• Valid driver's license and Bondable.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct field investigations by visiting policyholders’ residences to assess property damage and negotiate settlements.
• Utilize claims handling software, a company car, and a laptop to write estimates in a paperless environment.
• Report subrogation opportunities and incidents involving theft, fraud, or arson.
• Interact professionally with policyholders, claimants, agents, witnesses, contractors, and investigators.
• Travel to policyholder homes and perform duties independently, affecting outcomes.
• Promote safety and comply with relevant manuals.
• Be prepared for CAT deployments and field deployments as required.
