Farmers Insurance is seeking a Field Property Adjuster in the Columbus, OH area. The role requires performing property damage assessments at policyholder homes, negotiating settlements, and handling claims in a field-based environment.

You will use specialized software, company vehicles, and laptops to complete estimates, while maintaining a high standard of customer service and professionalism.

Qualificações

• Excellent customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to policyholder homes.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and smartphones.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct virtual and on-site investigations by visiting policyholders' residences to assess property damage, liability, and loss extent.
• Use claims software, a company car, and a laptop to write estimates in a paperless environment.
• Evaluate and report subrogation opportunities.
• Report incidents involving theft, fraud, or arson to appropriate agencies.
• Interact with policyholders, claimants, agents, witnesses, contractors, and others professionally.
