The role involves conducting investigations at residences, using claims software, and negotiating settlements while upholding service standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment.
• Excellent communication skills – both oral and written.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Valid driver's license and bondable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual and on-site investigations by visiting policyholders’ residences to assess property damage and negotiate fair settlements.
• Write estimates using claims handling software in a paperless environment.
• Evaluate potential subrogation opportunities.
• Report incidents to state and industry agencies as needed.
• Interact with policyholders, claimants, agents, witnesses and contractors to manage claims.
• Travel to and from policyholder homes within required territory.
