Job summary

National General is seeking a Field Property Adjuster to investigate and evaluate homeowners property claims from start to finish. You will confirm facts of loss, determine coverage, assess damages, and negotiate settlements within your authority, managing supplements, ALE, contents and personal property.

The ideal candidate has a license with reciprocity, strong organization, and excellent customer service skills, with experience in both field and desk settings.

Qualifications

• Exhibits mastery estimating fundamentals to create damage estimates for complex 1st party homeowner losses
• Builds mastered relationships with internal and external customers
• Interprets regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
• Negotiates settlements and documents all activities in complex files
• Applies mastered content to all policy types and assists leadership in training
• Recommends process improvements
