Job summary

National General is seeking a Field Property Adjuster to investigate and evaluate homeowners claims from start to finish. You will confirm facts of loss, determine coverage, assess damages, and negotiate settlements within your authority.

You’ll manage supplements, ALE, contents, and personal property losses while delivering excellent customer service through clear communication. Ideal candidates are near Hollis Center, ME/York County or within a 1 hour radius, with field and desk experience,

Qualifications

• Experience handling homeowners property claims from start to finish.
• Active adjuster license or reciprocity eligibility strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigates and evaluates homeowners property claims from start to finish.
• Confirms facts of loss, determines coverage, assesses damages, negotiates settlements.
• Manages the entire claim lifecycle including supplements, ALE, contents, and ownership.
• Maintains clear, timely communication with customers and partners.
• Recommends process improvements and supports training where needed.
• Builds relationships with internal and external customers.
