Job summary

National General is seeking a Field Property Adjuster to investigate and evaluate homeowners properties from start to finish. You will confirm facts of loss, determine coverage, assess damages and negotiate settlements, managing supplements, ALE, contents, and personal property with full claim ownership.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, timely communication, and adherence to policy and regulatory standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active adjuster license or reciprocity eligible in applicable states.
• Experience handling field and desk claims preferred.
• Proficiency in Xactimate and claims handling fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Investigates and evaluates homeowners property claims from start to finish.
• Confirms facts of loss, determines coverage, assesses damages, negotiates settlements.
• Manages supplements, ALE, contents and personal property; closes files accurately.
• Maintains clear, timely communication with customers and partners.
• Applies policy terms and regulatory compliance in all actions.
• Recommends process improvements and supports training initiatives.
