Job summary

You will confirm facts of loss, assess damages, negotiate settlements, and handle ALE, contents, and overall claim ownership with strong communication to customers, contractors, and partners.

Candidates should have experience in both field and desk settings, a current adjuster license or reciprocity, and proficiency in Xactimate.

Qualifications

• Experience handling claims in both field and desk settings.
• Holds an active adjuster license or possesses a license that qualifies for reciprocity in applicable states.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits mastery estimating fundamentals to create damage estimates for complex 1st party homeowner losses.
• Builds strong relationships with internal and external customers.
• Interprets regulatory compliance and fair claims practices.
• Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in complex files.
• Applies policy interpretations and assists leadership in training.
• Recommends process improvements.
