Job summary

National General is seeking a Field Property Adjuster to investigate and manage homeowners claims from start to finish. You will verify facts, determine coverage, assess damages, and negotiate settlements with customers, contractors, and partners.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, timely communication, and ownership of supplements, ALE, contents, and entire claim lifecycle. A license or reciprocity is preferred, with a Licensure Sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Analytical thinking and strong communication to manage complex homeowners claims.
• Experience handling homeowners property claims end-to-end and party to settlements.
• Proficiency with Xactimate and knowledge of supplements, ALE, contents, and full claim ownership.

Responsibilities

• Estimate damages for complex first-party homeowner losses.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and partners.
• Interpret policy terms and regulatory requirements in claims handling.
• Negotiate settlements and document all activities accurately.
• Apply policy knowledge and support training and process improvements.
