Job summary

National General is seeking a Field Property Adjuster to investigate and confirm facts of loss for complex homeowners claims, determine coverage and damages, and create comprehensive estimates.

The ideal candidate will manage on-site inspections and virtual claims handling for residential, farm, and ranch claims, with strong estimating skills and experience using Xactimate. Preference for candidates residing in Wyoming near Laramie, Platte, Fremont or Campbell counties.

Qualifications

• Analytical thinking and problem solving for complex homeowner claims.
• Knowledge of farm and ranch insurance operations and regulations.
• Experience handling large and complex homeowners claims.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits mastery estimating fundamentals to create damage estimates for complex losses.
• Builds relationships with internal and external customers.
• Interprets regulatory compliance and fair claims practices.
• Negotiates settlements and documents actions in complex files.
• Supports leadership with training and process improvements.
