Job summary

National General in Connecticut is seeking an experienced Field Property Adjuster to independently investigate and evaluate homeowners property claims from start to finish. You will manage the full claim lifecycle, including supplements, ALE, contents, and settlements, using Xactimate, with strong customer service and both field and desk experience.

Qualifications

• Active adjuster license or reciprocity license preferred.
• Proficiency in Xactimate and claims handling incl. supplements, ALE and contents ownership.
• Strong organizational skills and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Estimate damages for complex 1st party homeowner losses.
• Build strong internal and external customer relationships.
• Interpret regulatory compliance and fair claims practices.
• Negotiate settlements and document all activities.
• Apply policy knowledge to all company policy types.
• Suggest process improvements.
