Job summary

National General Insurance seeks a Field Property Adjuster to investigate and evaluate homeowners claims on-site in Connecticut. You will manage the entire claim lifecycle, including supplements, ALE, contents, and settlements, while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication with all stakeholders.

Ideal candidates will hold an active adjuster license, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and have experience in both field and desk settings.

Qualifications

• Strong case management and negotiation skills.
• Deep knowledge of homeowners insurance and claims handling.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and evaluate homeowners property claims from start to finish.
• Confirm facts of loss, determine coverage, assess damages and negotiate settlements.
• Manage full claim lifecycle including supplements, ALE, contents and personal property.
• Communicate clearly with customers, contractors and partners throughout the process.
• Apply policy understanding and provide guidance to teammates and leadership.
• Identify and suggest process improvements.
