Job summary

Thrivent Financial seeks a Manager, Field Leader Support to build and guide a team of Administrative Assistants. You will align with AVPs and AOLs to deploy resources, control expenses, and drive consistent service delivery for field leaders across Areas.

You will lead change initiatives, develop staff, and ensure adherence to enterprise standards while partnering with enterprise support teams. Occasional travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading others and driving execution of operational or strategic priorities.
• Demonstrated experience in budget management and financial oversight, including expense tracking and controls.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, including coaching and performance management.
• Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and build strong cross-functional partnerships.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Executive Assistants (EAs) and/or Senior Administrative Assistants (SAAs).
• Drive performance management, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, development planning, and performance reviews.
• Establish consistent team practices and training routines to ensure service delivery.
• Oversee execution of Area-level expense processes and travel costs with compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and standardize processes across Areas.
• Coordinate support efforts to meet leader priorities and capacity demands.
