Job summary

Thrivent is seeking an Operations Case Manager to support field staff by owning Life and Health new business cases and maximizing issued cases while delivering a client-centric advisor experience.

You will serve as a key contact for designated Advisor Groups, provide just-in-time training, and collaborate across Operations to ensure consistent, accurate case handling in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years in financial services with life/health insurance, sales, or customer service preferred.
• Strong track record of performance and success.
• Excellent oral and written communication with high professionalism.
• Interpersonal, analytical and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to build strong business relationships cross-functionally.
• Strong issue identification and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organization and prioritization with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a dedicated contact for Life and Health applications for field staff.
• Handle calls, emails, and messages ensuring accuracy, priority, and timeliness.
• Manage the lifecycle of each application to service standards.
• Educate recipients on products and regulatory requirements when needed.
• Review documents for 'in good order' prior to submission and follow up on missing information.
• Provide regular updates on critical cases to teams, field staff, and leadership.
• Suggest process improvements focused on client and advisor experience.
• Model Thrivent leadership competencies and champion accountability.
• Act as a liaison for assigned field staff on questions regarding new business, changes, and underwriting.
