Job summary

Thrivent Financial is seeking a Manager, Virtual Advice to lead a national team of 10–15 licensed advisors delivering guidance via phone, screen share, and video from a remote US location.

You will drive performance and revenue, coach for consultative, needs-based sales, and ensure a consistent client experience across states. Collaboration with sales leadership and training resources is key to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in business or related field.
• FINRA Series 7, 63/65 or 66 and Life/Health licenses; must be obtained within 120 days.
• 5+ years leading a team of 8+ direct reports.
• Eligible to be licensed in all 50 states and DC.
• Experience in financial planning, investments, and insurance.
• Experience with consultative, needs-based sales models.
• Experience in a virtual sales environment.
• Strong communication and client-centric mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 10–15 nationally licensed advisors.
• Drive team revenue of $1.5M+ annually.
• Coach regularly to build consultative sales skills.
• Hire, interview, onboard, and train staff.
• Collaborate with centers of excellence to provide training and resources.
• Lead from the front and participate in client calls when needed.
• Plan quarterly business and manage performance against budgets.
• Communicate decisions across FRs and field leaders.
