Job summary

Thrivent is seeking a senior leader to oversee a nationwide team of 10-15 licensed advisors serving clients across all 50 states. You will guide performance, revenue, and coaching to deliver advisory excellence through calls, screen shares, and video interactions.

You will mentor teams to strengthen consultative selling, drive client outcomes, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while aligning with Thrivent's mission and client-centric approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business-related field or equivalent experience.
• FINRA Series 7, 63/65 or 66 and Life/Health licenses are highly desired and must be obtained within 120 days of hire/transfer.
• 5+ years of leading a team of 8+ direct reports is highly desired.
• Must be eligible to be Securities and Insurance licensed in all 50 states and DC.
• Previous experience in financial planning, investments, and insurance products.
• Experience with consultative, needs-based sales models and leading change in fast-growing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 10-15 nationally licensed advisors serving clients across all 50 states.
• Drive team revenue of $1.5M+ annually and manage performance to reach goals.
• Coach teams and individuals daily/weekly to build consultative sales skills and deliver advice-based recommendations.
• Conduct talent interviews and make selections based on attrition and growth.
• Provide onboarding and training to accelerate productivity and skill development.
• Collaborate with internal centers of excellence to provide training and resources.
