Job summary

IPA - Innovative Product Achievements is seeking an Implementation Engineer to be the hands-on face of IPA at customer sites, delivering scrub and linen automation solutions from delivery through go-live. This role owns full onsite implementation — uncrating and positioning equipment, installing, networking, and training clients for long-term success.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
• Problem-solver who enjoys tackling complex issues with enthusiasm.
• Service-oriented mindset and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills adaptable to different audiences.
• Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and networking troubleshooting; eager to learn.
• Able to travel 80% and work independently from a home office.
• Lift at least 100 lbs and maintain hospital site immunizations.
• MS Office proficiency; Salesforce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Travel onsite to install equipment: uncrate, transport, position, connect power and data, program and network.
• Serve as IPA's onsite face, training end users and instilling confidence from day one.
• Train clients on software and procedures; troubleshoot common issues post-install.
• Resolve hardware, software, firmware, and networking issues during implementations and escalations.
• Maintain tools proficiency and support system administration tasks including Linux and Clearview.
• Perform preventative maintenance with a focus on long-term client health.
• Communicate progress daily, escalate timely, and document cases in Salesforce.
• Manage travel and expenses efficiently, balancing time and cost 80% of the time.
• Share lessons learned to improve future implementations.
