Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced ECH Field Engineer to lead deployment, configuration, and testing of Emergency Call Handling solutions across on‑premise and cloud-hosted environments. You will work remotely within the US with heavy travel, supporting customers and partners to ensure successful production cutovers.

Responsibilities include cloud connectivity, documentation, and participation in cloud migration methods, with emphasis on security and best practices. Travel 50–75%.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering/IT/tech fields required.
• 5+ years in deployment or integration of complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications are a plus (AWS/Azure).
• Proficiency with virtualization, servers, and AD/identity management.

Responsibilities

• Configure and validate ECH solutions on-site and in cloud environments.
• Perform site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between local infrastructure and cloud apps.
• Provide post-cut support to customers and partners during deployment.
• Document changes and API integrations for deployment projects.
• Contribute to methods for cloud migrations and system upgrades.
• Engage in pre-contract briefings and customer discussions as needed.
• Maintain skills in emerging cloud-native public safety tech.
