Job summary
Motorola Solutions is hiring an Emergency Call Handling (ECH) Field Engineer for remote work in the US with extensive travel (50-75%). You will configure and verify ECH deployments across on-premises and cloud environments, troubleshoot cloud connectivity, and support customers and partners through production cutovers.
Strong experience in virtualization, Windows/Linux servers, and SIP/telephony is essential.
Qualifications
- Requires 3+ years deploying or integrating complex IP products and systems.
- Experience with cloud-based troubleshooting, including connectivity and identity management (SSO/AD).
- Strong understanding of server virtualization, Windows/Linux server administration.
- Willingness to travel 50–75% domestically and internationally, US citizenship for clearance.
- US work authorization and ability to obtain security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Configure and test ECH solutions on-premises and cloud-hosted environments.
- Perform site verification testing prior to production cutover.
- Troubleshoot connectivity between local infra and cloud environments.
- Support customers and channel partners during deployment transitions.
- Document changes to cloud tenants and API integrations.
- Assist with cloud migration methods and system upgrades.
- Lead pre-contract presentations and customer discussions as needed.
- Maintain expertise in emerging cloud-native public safety tech.
