Job summary

Leica Biosystems is seeking a Field Applications Specialist to provide technical applications expertise across the Northeast region. You will partner with Sales, Service, and customers to support instrument deployment, optimize workflows, train personnel, and ensure successful product adoption.

Remote work is eligible; travel up to 75% may be required. A Bachelor's with 2+ years or a Master's with 0-2 years of related experience is expected, along with histology or pathology domain knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in histology or related field.
• Understanding of Histology, Anatomic Pathology, Laboratory Automation.
• Ability to troubleshoot applications, train customers, and support lab workflow.

Responsibilities

• Lead instrument installations, evaluations, validations, workflow optimization activities, and customer onboarding to drive successful implementation and utilization of Leica Biosystems products.
• Provide expert applications support, troubleshooting, and training that improves customer competency, laboratory performance, and overall customer experience.
• Investigate and resolve technical applications issues in partnership with Technical Service, Product Management, Global Business Units, and other cross-functional teams to deliver timely and effective customer solutions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying customer needs, sharing field insights, documenting issues appropriately, and helping strengthen products, workflows, and service delivery.
