Job summary

Sartorius is seeking a Field Applications Specialist for Chrom/TFF in a remote-capable role focused on downstream processing solutions. You will work with customers and internal teams to translate requirements into actionable product and workflow recommendations, supporting trials and trainings across the region.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in applications or related roles, strongBiologics knowledge, and a proven ability to present technical value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related field; master's preferred.
• 3+ years in application support, technical support, field applications, lab ops, or customer-facing roles in downstream process development or cGMP environments.
• Experience in biologics manufacturing; cell/gene therapy exposure is an advantage.
• 1+ years knowledge of biologics process development and scale-up for mAbs; other modalities beneficial.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical challenges in customer environments; hands-on for demos, trials, and training.

Responsibilities

• Support customer evaluations, translate requirements into product/workflow recommendations to accelerate adoption of downstream systems (centrifugation, columns, chromatography, TFF).
• Design, coordinate, and document evaluation plans, onboarding activities, and outcomes for successful implementations.
• Troubleshoot inquiries and product performance issues by analyzing processes and coordinating corrective actions with stakeholders.
• Contribute technical insights during opportunity development to improve solution fit.
• Capture feedback and trends to inform portfolio enhancements.
• Assist training and development of other Field Application Specialists and sales.
• Train customers on new technologies and support initial startup activities.
• Support quality investigations through process troubleshooting and analysis.
• Provide monthly territory activity reports to management.
