Job summary

Sartorius is seeking a Field Applications Specialist (Chrom/TFF) to support downstream processing solutions across the Central Region & Canada from a remote base. You will translate customer needs into product and workflow recommendations, coordinate trials and training, and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure successful adoption.

The role requires strong biologics experience, hands-on demonstrations, and collaboration with Sales, Product Management, and Quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 3+ years in application/technical support, field applications or customer-facing roles in downstream processing.
• Biologics manufacturing experience; cell/gene therapy exposure is a plus.
• 1+ years in-depth biologics process development and scale-up for mAbs; more modalities is beneficial.
• Ability to troubleshoot, perform demonstrations, trials, and training, and document results.

Responsibilities

• Translate process requirements into product and workflow recommendations for downstream systems.
• Design and coordinate evaluation plans, trials, and onboarding with customers.
• Troubleshoot inquiries and coordinate corrective actions to protect productivity.
• Provide technical insights and competitive positioning to support opportunity development.
• Share customer feedback and observations to support portfolio enhancements.
• Train and mentor other Field Application Specialists and sales staff.
