Job summary

Your Talent Team seeks a Field Application Engineer to support regional sales by understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable embedded computing solutions. You will present product roadmaps and technology capabilities to customers, acting as the technical bridge between customers, sales, and internal teams.

In this remote role covering a Texas-centric territory with Canada, you will handle pre-sales engagements, provide technical assistance, and help identify optimal FPGA/DSP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years in Field Applications Engineering or similar customer-facing technical roles.
• Strong hardware/software integration and embedded computing understanding.
• Experience translating customer needs into technical requirements and product recommendations.
• Proven ability to provide technical sales support and collaborate with regional sales teams.
• Experience presenting technical information and solutions to customers.
• Strong FPGA/DSP-based embedded hardware knowledge.
• Strong RF and analog technologies knowledge.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel 50% or more, including overnight trips.

Responsibilities

• Support regional sales managers by understanding customer requirements and recommending technical solutions.
• Present products, roadmaps, and capabilities to customers.
• Bridge customers, sales, and internal teams during pre-sales engagements.
• Provide technical assistance throughout customer engagements and post-sale support.
• Travel regularly across Texas and into Canada to support accounts.
