Job summary

KingRecruitingServices in Austin, TX is seeking a Field Application Engineer for a REMOTE role covering Texas and Canada, with 50%+ travel. You will support regional sales managers by translating customer requirements into technical solutions, and presenting FPGA/DSP/RF embedded computing capabilities and roadmaps.

You will act as a technical bridge among customers, sales, and engineering, lead pre-sales engagements, provide ongoing technical support, and help identify the right solutions for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• 3+ years in Field Applications or related technical role.
• Strong hardware/software integration and embedded computing knowledge.
• Experience translating customer needs into technical requirements.
• Proven ability to provide technical sales support and collaborate with sales teams.
• Experience presenting technical information and solutions to customers.
• Strong FPGA/DSP, RF, and analog technology understanding.
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Willingness to travel 50%+ (overnight and multi-day trips).

Responsibilities

• Support regional sales managers by understanding customer requirements and recommending technical solutions.
• Present product capabilities, roadmaps, and embedded computing solutions to customers.
• Act as the technical bridge between customers, sales, and internal teams for pre-sales and ongoing support.
