Job summary

KLA Industries, Inc. seeks a Field Application/Sales Engineer (electronics) to support regional sales with deep technical guidance on embedded computing, FPGA/DSP, RF, and open-architecture platforms.

This remote role covers Texas and Canada with significant travel and regular customer engagements, from requirements gathering to pre-sales support and post-sale technical assistance. You will translate customer needs into technical solutions, present roadmaps, and collaborate across engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or Computer Science.
• Minimum 3+ years in Field Applications Engineering or similar.
• Strong hardware/software integration and embedded systems knowledge.
• Experience translating customer needs into technical requirements.
• Proven ability to provide technical sales support and collaborate with sales managers.
• Experience presenting technical information and solutions.
• Knowledge of FPGA/DSP-based embedded hardware and RF/analog tech.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel 50%+ and multi-day trips.

Responsibilities

• Support regional sales managers with customer requirements and solutions.
• Present products, roadmaps, and capabilities to customers.
• Act as technical bridge across customers, sales, and internal teams.
• Lead pre-sales engagements and provide ongoing technical support.
