Job summary
Phoenix Contact is seeking a Field Application Engineer to provide hands-on technical support across automation, control and networking products. You will collaborate with regional sales teams and customers to drive growth and tailor solutions.
The role requires at least 3 years of sales or marketing experience in automation and industrial controls, plus travel readiness. A strong consultative approach and CRM proficiency are essential.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of sales or marketing experience in automation and industrial control.
- Ability to travel by air and car; up to six hours drive and overnight travel as needed.
- Strong knowledge of automation, control and networking products.
- Proficient in using CRM systems to track accounts and opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Act as local technical representative for Phoenix Contact products and support the sales team.
- Develop sales tools, collateral and drive campaigns.
- Serve as the voice of the customer providing insight for expansion of product lines or new focus industries.
- Deliver product demonstrations and hands-on presentations.
- Maintain CRM with accurate client information and use it for reporting and tracking.
- Meet/exceed territory sales quotas as established by management.
