Job summary

Phoenix Contact is seeking a Field Application Engineer to provide hands-on technical support for automation, control and networking products across the Mid-Atlantic region. You will partner with sales teams to drive revenue, deliver demonstrations, and develop customer-focused solutions.

The role requires a four-year degree and at least three years in automation sales or marketing, with travel up to our territory and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree with technical discipline preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years sales or marketing experience with automation and industrial control products.
• Ability to work independently from home office with limited supervision.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Increase annual sales revenue across Phoenix Contact automation, control and networking portfolio.
• Coordinate with local Phoenix Contact sales team for joint sales activities and trainings.
• Serve as local technical representative and support power-related technical matters.
• Act as regional marketing specialist developing sales tools, collateral and campaigns.
• Maintain CRM with accurate client information and use it for reporting and tracking.
