Job summary
Phoenix Contact in the United States seeks a Field Application Engineer to deliver hands-on technical expertise for automation, control and networking products. You will partner with regional sales and engineering teams to drive consultative solutions and expand market penetration across assigned accounts.
You will demonstrate products, develop application notes, and support sales opportunities with customers, ensuring technically sound solutions and strong customer satisfaction while traveling
Qualifications
- 3 years minimum sales or marketing experience with automation and industrial control products.
- Ability to work independently from home office with limited supervision.
- Must be able to travel by airplane and drive; overnight travel 40%+ as needed.
Responsibilities
- Act as the local technical representative for Phoenix Contact products and support the sales team in technical matters.
- Develop sales tools, collateral and drive campaigns as regional marketing specialist.
- Serve as the voice of the customer, providing insights for product expansion and new focus industries.
- Drive value-added applications and engineered solutions.
- Meet/exceed territory sales quotas as established by leadership.
- Maintain CRM with accurate client information and use tools to maximize productivity.
- Deliver product presentations and hands-on demonstrations to advance sales.
