Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in patient support, pharmaceutical/healthcare sales or operations, or reimbursement support.
• Strong knowledge of health insurance structures (Medicare Part B, Medicaid, commercial) and related access processes.
• Expertise in pharmaceutical compliance and HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
• Must reside in New Orleans area assigned territory with 20-25% travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide information/education to HCP accounts on patient access, including benefit verification and prior authorization.
• Analyze access trends and collaborate to address barriers to patient access.
• Coordinate with hub/vendor on patient cases and access issues.
• Educate field teams on access processes and payer coverage changes.
• Maintain knowledge of regional/national market dynamics and payer policies.
• Attend national and regional meetings.
