Merck is seeking a Field Access Manager (FAM) to serve as the subject-matter expert on access issues for HCPs and HCOs. This remote/field-based role supports timely patient access by coordinating with patient support, market access, and field sales across an assigned geography.

The FAM will educate providers on access processes and payer coverage, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize patient access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide information and education to HCP accounts on patient access, including benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals, and patient support programs.
• Analyze access trends and partner cross-functionally to address barriers to patient access.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders to support seamless patient access to therapy.
• Monitor payer trends to address access barriers.
• Educate and update HCP offices on hub programs including patient support offerings and financial assistance.
