Merck is seeking a Field Access Manager to act as the subject-matter expert on access issues for healthcare professionals and organizations. The role requires remote field work, cross-functional collaboration with patient support, market access, field sales, and other teams to facilitate timely patient access to therapy.

You will analyze access trends and coordinate with hub vendors to resolve coverage barriers.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in patient support, Pharmaceutical/healthcare sales or operations, or reimbursement support.
• Strong knowledge of health insurance structures (Medicare Part B, Medicaid, commercial) and related access processes.
• Expertise in pharmaceutical compliance and HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Provide information and education to HCP accounts on patient access, including benefit verification and prior authorization.
• Analyze access trends and identify barriers to patient access.
• Coordinate with hub vendor and cross-functional teams to support patient access.
• Educate field teams on access processes and payer coverage.
• Maintain knowledge of regional and national market dynamics and payer policies.
• Attend national and regional meetings.
