Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking a Field Access Manager to serve as the subject-matter expert on access-related issues for healthcare professionals and organizations.

This remote/field-based role collaborates with patient support, market access, and field sales to facilitate timely patient access to therapy and to educate providers on access processes and payer coverage. The role requires extensive experience in patient support or reimbursement, strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid/commercial

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 7 years' experience in patient support, pharmaceutical/healthcare sales or operations, or reimbursement support.
• Strong knowledge of health insurance structures (Medicare Part B, Medicaid, commercial) and related access processes.
• Must reside in the Ohio Valley assigned territory and travel 20–25%.

Mansioni

• Provide information and education to HCP accounts on patient access, including benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals, and patient support programs.
• Analyze access trends and barriers to patient access across accounts.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support patient access and payer coverage issues.
• Educate and update field teams and HCP offices on access resources, payer processes, and hub programs.
• Attend National and Regional Meetings to keep abreast of payer changes.
