Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services seeks an FHA Claims Specialist to prepare, file, and track claims under moderate supervision. You will handle FHA Conveyance Part A/B, Non-Conveyance CWCOT, Pre-Foreclosure Sale tasks and related processes, ensuring accuracy and timely submission in line with guidelines.

Responsibilities include documenting tasking, uploading documents to agency systems, and following up for payment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; some college preferred.
• One or more years’ mortgage servicing default experience.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file claims for FHA conveyance and related loan types timely and accurately.
• Document system tasking and comments in the file.
• Ensure required documentation is included and uploaded to agency system.
• Submit claims for quality review and perform timely corrections.
• Finalize and submit claims to agency for payment and follow up as needed.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management.
