Job summary

Source is seeking an experienced Purchasing Project Director to lead project purchasing, oversee project teams, and manage multiple FF&E projects from inception through installation. You will streamline procurement processes and drive cost-effective solutions for commercial and hospitality spaces.

The role leads a team of Purchasing Project Managers and Coordinators, coordinating with architects, designers, owners, and contractors to deliver on-time, on-budget FF&E installations while

Qualifications

• 7+ years of FF&E purchasing experience.
• 5+ years managing and overseeing purchasing teams.
• Ability to independently lead large, complex projects from kickoff through closeout.
• Familiarity with commercial interior products; read and interpret architectural floor plans and specifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead project timelines across Project Managers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage team capacity and assign manager/coordinator teams to incoming work.
• Train team on purchasing processes, systems, and SOPs.
• Keep specifications within budget and aligned with design vision from kickoff.
• Build vendor bid lists and run RFQ processes; present bid analyses to clients.
