Job summary

Premier Project Management is seeking a Purchasing Agent to support supply chain management and procurement for hospitality and multi-family developments in Dallas, TX. The role reports to the Senior Director of Procurement and focuses on bidding, purchasing, and expediting FF&E to meet construction start dates.

Responsibilities include obtaining quotations, negotiating terms, managing requisitions and purchase orders, and coordinating with designers and vendors to keep projects on budget and on

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• BA/BS preferred.
• At least 3 years purchasing experience, hospitality preferred.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel - Spitfire a plus.
• Strong oral and written communications skills required, presentation skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Obtain FF&E quotations, warehousing and installation bids for items as specified by the approved project budget.
• Negotiate price, lead-time and payment terms.
• Obtain scoped/specified items within budget.
• Cost analysis, purchasing and delivery of all products within an approved budget.
• Manage an effective project purchasing process to procure and deliver requirements on time.
• Coordinate shop drawings, submittals and finish approvals with designer and manufacturers.
