Job summary

Absolute Procurement, based in Portland, OR, seeks a full-time FF&E Project Manager to oversee multiple procurement projects nationwide, reporting to the Project Director. The role combines client-facing leadership with hands-on procurement, scheduling, and supplier coordination.

You will coordinate with designers, developers, operators, and other stakeholders, generate budgets, bids, and schedules, and manage purchases, logistics, and on-site installations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hospitality, senior living, and/or multi-family FF&E procurement experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in interior design, project management, business, supply chain, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Extensive knowledge of hospitality FF&E commodities, suppliers, manufacturing standards, and logistics processes.
• Deep understanding of the value engineering process with strong negotiation tactics.
• Thorough and organized documentation with attention to detail for specs, budget, and schedule.
• Ability to self-manage time while working remotely and multi-project prioritization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across platforms.
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace.
• Ability to sit and work at a computer for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day client-facing point of contact throughout the project, leading communications and coordination.
• Generate conceptual budgets, qualify suppliers, perform bid analyses, and present to project teams.
• Develop procurement schedule and strategy ensuring timely milestones.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, operators, and stakeholders to drive the procurement process.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, change orders, and related contract documents.
• Track submittals, approvals, prototypes, and delivery dates of procured items.
• Plan transportation, warehousing, and installation of FF&E, managing third-party providers.
• Compile punch lists and drive cost-effective solutions.
• Manage project budget, forecasting, and reconciliation.
• Coordinate daily with Project Coordinators for admin support.
• Provide regular project status updates to the Project Director.
• Occasional travel to job sites for installations and model room reviews.
