Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Training Specialist to design and deliver training for Customer Service Representatives supporting FEHB and PSHB programs. You will develop curricula, exercises, and assessments, and collaborate with Instructional Design, Knowledge Management, Operations, and program stakeholders.

This fully remote role requires strong facilitation of virtual training, measurement of learner progress, coaching, and adherence to privacy standards (PII/PHI).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of experience.
• Experience delivering new-hire training in a contact center or customer service environment.
• Experience developing simulations, scenarios, assessments, and knowledge checks.
• Familiarity with LMS and eLearning tools (Rise 360 or Storyline).
• Experience delivering training to remote or geographically dispersed learners.
• Ability to pass a federal background check and work on federal programs.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop training curriculum and training materials based on proven adult learning techniques.
• Create and develop training scenarios and update training env data resources to mirror production tools.
• Work with partners and SMEs on needs analysis and learning objectives.
• Develop qualitative and quantitative assessment tools to measure learner competencies.
• Teach instructional programs and organize materials for presentation.
• Develop assessments to measure curriculum effectiveness and update courses.
• Review and modify curriculums and align with policies and procedures.
• Maintain training resources and ensure alignment with operational excellence.
• Adhere to established safety standards.
• Contribute to organizational projects and goals.
• Communicate on complex issues or draft responses for leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
