Job summary

Zoom’s Federal Solutions Engineering team seeks a Federal Solutions Engineer who translates complex requirements into actionable product recommendations, tests customer environments, and champions feature requests shaping Zoom’s roadmap from the field.

You will work with Account Executives to design outcome-driven workflows for Federal clients, leveraging telephony, AI, APIs/SDKs, and security know-how across FedRAMP and government networks.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a Solution Engineer in pre-sales for federal clients.
• Strong knowledge of Unified Communications, video, web conferencing, and voice.
• 7+ years supporting technical sales in Federal Civilian Government or DoD environments.
• Knowledge of FedRAMP, IL5, NIPRNet, SIPRNet.
• Knowledge of SAML/SSO, firewalls, routers, PBX, MPLS networks.
• Cybersecurity certifications a plus (CISSP, OSCP, CISM, CEH, GSEC).

Responsibilities

• Provide product presentations and demonstrations, creating deployment designs and plans, implementing proofs of concept, and preparing responses to RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
• Maintain advanced proficiency across Zoom technologies, including AI and APIs/SDKs, and networking.
• Serve as the trusted technical advisor for Federal clients throughout the sales cycle.
• Support Account Executives by designing solutions addressing collaboration challenges.
• Translate technical needs into product development suggestions and drive internal feature requests.
