Job summary

Zoom's Federal Solutions Engineering team seeks an experienced Federal Solutions Engineer to translate complex requirements into actionable product recommendations. You will test customer environments, champion feature requests, and design outcome‑driven workflows that impact Zoom's roadmap from the field.

Deep telephony expertise and AI passion are essential. You will partner with customers and Account Executives to create compelling, cloud‑based collaboration solutions across FedRAMP

Qualifications

• 7+ years of pre‑sales Solution Engineer experience in Federal Civilian Government or DoD environments.
• Strong command of Unified Communications, video, web conferencing, and voice.
• Knowledge of SaaS and federal systems (FedRAMP IL5, NIPRNet, SIPRNet).
• Ability to translate technical needs into customer solutions and influence product roadmap.
• Cybersecurity certifications a plus (CISSP, OSCP, CISM, CEH, GSEC).

Responsibilities

• Providing product presentations and demonstrations, creating deployment designs and plans, implementing proofs of concept, and preparing responses to RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
• Maintaining advanced proficiency across video, phone, customer experience, AI, APIs/SDKs, networking, PBX, desktop, and mobile technologies.
• Serving as the trusted technical advisor, acting as the lead advocate for Federal clients during every stage of the sales cycle.
• Supporting Account Executives by proposing and designing solutions that address significant collaboration challenges.
• Translating technical needs into product development suggestions while driving customer feature requests internally.
