Job summary

Zoom is seeking a Federal Solutions Engineer to translate complex requirements into actionable product recommendations and champion feature requests. You will design creative, outcome-driven workflows, test environments, and deliver compelling demonstrations for Federal clients.

With 7+ years in pre-sales, you will partner with Account Executives to craft solutions across Unified Communications, video, and voice, while navigating FedRAMP and DoD ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a Solution Engineer in pre-sales with UC/telephony focus.
• Strong knowledge of SaaS and enterprise collaboration tools.
• Experience supporting Federal Civilian or DoD sales, DHS/VA/US Navy, etc.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP, IL5, NIPRNet, SIPRNet and SAML/SSO.
• Understanding of firewalls, routers, PBX, MPLS, and related tech.
• Certifications in cybersecurity are a plus (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CISM).

Responsibilities

• Provide product presentations, demos, deployment designs and proofs of concept.
• Respond to RFIs/RFQs/RFPs and support COE in technical responses.
• Maintain proficiency across video, voice, APIs/SDKs, networking, and AI topics.
• Advise Federal clients as the trusted technical advocate throughout sales.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to design solution proposals.
