Job summary

Zoom's Federal Solutions Engineering team seeks a seasoned Fed-focused Solution Engineer to translate complex requirements into actionable Zoom product recommendations. You will design deployment plans, test environments, and drive RFx responses, partnering with Account Executives to close deals.

Candidate must have 7+ years in pre-sales for Federal Civilian Government or DoD, strong knowledge of UC, video, voice, and APIs/SDKs, and familiarity with FedRAMP/NIPRNet/SIPRNet.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a Solution Engineer in pre-sales.
• Knowledge of SaaS is an advantage.
• 7+ years supporting technical sales in Federal Civilian Government or DoD environments preferred.
• Working knowledge of FedRAMP, IL5, NIPRNet, SIPRNet.
• Working knowledge of SAML/SSO, firewalls, routers, PBX, TDM, MPLS networks, reverse proxies, MCP.
• Strong knowledge of AI, SIP, H.323, Microsoft Teams, firewall traversal, VoIP, CDNs.
• Federal clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide product presentations and demonstrations, create deployment designs and plans, implement proofs of concept, and respond to RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
• Maintain advanced proficiency across video, phone, customer experience, AI, APIs/SDKs, networking, PBX, desktop, and mobile technologies.
• Serve as the trusted technical advisor, acting as the lead advocate for Federal clients during every stage of the sales cycle.
• Support Account Executives by proposing and designing solutions that address significant collaboration challenges.
• Translate technical needs into product development suggestions while driving customer feature requests internally within Zoom.
