Job summary

Zoom’s Federal Solutions Engineering team seeks an experienced Solution Engineer to translate complex requirements into actionable product recommendations for Federal clients. You will design deployment plans, lead proofs of concept, and craft responses to RFIs/RFPs while collaborating with Account Executives to address critical collaboration challenges.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in pre‑sales, strong IT/UC knowledge, and familiarity with FedRAMP, IL5, NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and related security

Qualifications

7+ years as a Solution Engineer in pre‑sales with ability to clearly present technical solutions.
Strong knowledge of Unified Communications, video, web conferencing, and voice.
7+ years supporting technical sales in Federal Civilian Government or DoD environments preferred.
Knowledge of SaaS is a plus.
Federal clearance preferred but not required.
Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, CISM, CEH, GSEC are a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide product presentations and demos, create deployment designs, and respond to RFIs/RFPs.
Maintain proficiency across video, phone, AI, APIs/SDKs, networking, PBX, desktop and mobile.
Act as trusted technical advisor to Federal clients throughout the sales cycle.
Support Account Executives by designing solutions addressing customer challenges.
Translate technical needs into product development suggestions and advocate feature requests.
