Job summary

Trellix is seeking a Federal Sales Account Manager to lead IC accounts from Reston, VA, with remote coverage across the United States. This full-time role focuses on selling Trellix security solutions to government customers.

You will own the sales strategy, build pipeline, and close deals while collaborating with partners. US citizenship and TS/SCI clearance are required; some travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience.
• Security software experience preferred.
• Consultative sales approach with excellent communication skills.
• Hunter mentality with pipeline of 3x quota or greater.
• Ability to cold call and initiate a sales relationship and close deals.
• Strong team player and able to leverage internal/external resources.
• Understanding of federal government contracting and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Sell Trellix products and services to assigned territory.
• Develop and negotiate software/services contracts aligned to customer requirements and outcomes.
• Forecast performance for Commit, Upside and Pipeline (monthly, quarterly, annually).
• Meet and exceed assigned new business revenue quota.
• Work with team to develop and execute pipeline generation.
• Establish and direct channel and distribution strategies for customer success.
• Develop relationships with key influencers and stakeholders.
