YO AI Labs is seeking a Federal Reporting & Staff Writing Expert to support an AI-focused project. You will create, review, and evaluate federal and military-style reports while applying established documentation, reporting, and compliance standards.

The role is remote within the United States. No prior AI experience is required, but you must have 3+ years in federal reporting or staff writing, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in federal reporting or staff writing, preferably within the Department of Defense.
• Experience with military or federal reporting formats and documentation standards.
• US-based with experience handling confidential federal or military documentation.

Responsibilities

• Create and review WARs, SITREPs, after-action reports, executive summaries, and briefings.
• Develop clear, accurate content following federal and military reporting standards.
• Evaluate sample reports using grading criteria and quality standards.
• Develop reference responses, guidelines, and evaluation rubrics.
• Provide expert feedback on reporting structure, clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
• Collaborate remotely with project teams to improve deliverables.
