Job summary

Axiom Consultants seeks a Proposal Manager to lead and manage all phases of the federal proposal development process in response to U.S. government RFPs. This remote role can be based anywhere in the USA, with preference for MD/DC/VA proximity.

You will coordinate inputs from technical, management, and finance teams to deliver compliant, on-time proposals. You will work with leadership and project teams to identify opportunities, drive content from SMEs, and ensure high-quality, win-ready

Qualifications

7+ years’ experience managing U.S. federal government proposals.
Experience leading full lifecycle proposal management from RFP to submission.
APMP Foundation/Practitioner/Professional or Shipley training preferred.
Knowledge of FAR and government contracting.

Responsibilities

Owns all bids and proposals, including RFIs, RFQs, RFPs and informal requests for information.
Leads proposal development for oral presentations, coordinating scripting, storyboarding, slide development and rehearsal.
Applies end-to-end capture-to-proposal methods to transition from capture to coordinated proposal effort.
Develops and maintains compliance matrices, requirements traceability, annotated outlines, and proposal schedules.
Plans color-team reviews (Pink, Red, Gold, White Glove) and drives recovery and final production.
Ensures 100% compliance with all RFP instructions, evaluation criteria, and submission requirements.
